Meet the doctor
Todd L. Davis, DMD
Dr. Davis is originally from Reno, Nevada but also lived and practiced dentistry in Las Vegas, Nevada. While in Las Vegas, he was a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. As a Professor, he taught clinical dentistry to 4th-year dental students. Dr. Davis taught at UNLV-SDM for six years in this capacity. He was also a volunteer faculty member of the Sgt. Clint Ferrin Dental Clinic, a free dental clinic for low-income veterans.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Davis enjoys home improvement projects, going to the gym, and woodworking. His favorite activity is spending quality time with his wife and two young children.
Experience
Dr. Davis completed a General Practice Residency with the Department of Veterans Affairs at the VA Hospital in Baltimore, MD. At this residency program, Dr. Davis studied advanced general dentistry and implantology. He previously served as a clinical doctor mentor for Heartland Dental for over 3 years. As a mentor, he taught hands-on courses for other doctors on subjects such as cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, implantology, and endodontics. Dr. Davis is now a Clinical Director of Technology Integration.
Dr. Davis has earned Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). Additionally, he is an esteemed member of the Doctor Mastery Program. This five-year program consists of clinical training conducted by world-renowned clinicians building on foundational skills and advancing to mastery of the most complex dental care. Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).
In order to be awarded Fellowship status, Dr. Davis has completed 100 hours of continuing education in implant dentistry and successfully submitted 20 cases for review. As a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Dr. Davis has demonstrated his commitment to attaining the knowledge and technical skills necessary to provide his patients with the most innovative and effective implant services in dental medicine. The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Fellowship is presented to dentists who are committed to pursuing professional excellence and providing the highest quality of dental care. In order to receive this distinction, Dr. Davis completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam, and fulfilled three years of continuous membership in the AGD. As an AGD Fellow, Dr. Davis has joined an elite group of only 6% of dentists in the U.S. and Canada who share an extraordinary dedication to the idea that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the results of going above and beyond basic requirements. Fellowship connotes excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
